The militant outfit Indian Mujahideen has claimed responsibility of Delhi serial blast which went up on Saturday evening leaving at least 18 dead and scores injured.
Reportedly, in an e-mail to a private news channel the militant organisation that had earlier taken responsibility of July 26 Ahmedabad serial bombings made this claim, though the police is unsure about its involvement.
Meanwhile, the police had said that that they didn’t have any prior intelligence input on these blasts.
As per reports, the Islamic militant group had sent a mail to Zee News, which claimed that nine blasts would be strike Delhi within five minutes. The mail was sent by ‘Arbi Hind’ from the email id al-arbi_delhi@yahoo.com.
The five blasts that rocked the national capital in different busy market places have so far claimed 18 lives and injured over 100. The injured have been immediately rushed to the nearest Ram Manohar Lohia (RML) Hospital.
The blasts at Ghaffar market in Karol Bagh, Connaught Place and Greater Kailash took place in a quick succession, police said.
The first blast took place at Ghaffar market at 6.10 p.m. in which at least 20 people were injured.
Immediately after that, two explosions took place in Connaught Place in which at least 10 people were injured.
Another explosion rocked M-Block market in Greater Kailash-I.
Senior Police officials including Joint Commissioner of Police Karnail Singh had rushed to the spot in the central district and were assessing the situation.
President, Prime Minister condemn blasts
The Prime Minister, President, Vice President and Home Minister have strongly condemned serial blasts in the heart of Indian capital Delhi.
President Pratibha Devisingh Patil has been grieved by the tragic turn of events in Delhi. She has strongly condemned the serial blasts and condoled the loss of lives in this mindless act of violence. The President wishes speedy recovery to the injured and appeals to the people of Delhi to maintain peace and calm in the face of this adversity.
Prime Minister too expressed shock that the blasts have caused fatalities and casualties among innocent people. He said that such dastardly acts of violence are intended to disturb peace and harmony and should be thwarted. He appealed to all sections to maintain calm.

Zapak To Launch Chinese Site
September 10, 2008
Plans are afoot to “step into the Chinese online casual gaming market with a Chinese website,” Zapak COO Rohit Sharma tells exchange4media. For their MMOG, in partnership with a Chinese firm, they won’t be looking at a subscription based model as speculated but rather use ‘item based sales’, which means selling virtual goods and gameplay inventory. Taking stock of the year gone by, Sharma claimed that the portal has more than 4 million registered users and more than 10 million page views; over 100 brands aboard (really?) on the gaming site. In-game advertising and advergaming contributed to 25-30 per cent of the company’s revenues, and this is expected to grow to reach 50 per cent of the total revenues by this fiscal end. More at e4m.
There are also plans to expand Zapak Gameplexes to more than 150 by 2008. Great focus and BIG plans, but we wonder if they expect to break even anytime soon. Zapak mail, Zapak.tv and Zapak Tiny have been relatively low key and some of the properties have been merely marketing fluff riding off mostly on homepage traffic mileage. Zapak Mail, I am looking at you. Any idea if the MMOG is being developed inhouse or merely customized and published by Zapak for the Indian market?

Feedburner hack: how to get 2500 subscribers overnight (video)
September 5, 2008Established blogs like ReadWriteWeb and Techcrunch proudly show a Feedburner chicklet that displays the sites popularity. But beware – since people are more likely to subscribe to a site with a bigger amount of readers, some sites manipulate the counter.
Every once and a while co-editor Patrick and I stumble on a shady looking website with a ton of readers. That made us wonder whether Feedburner is hackable. I’ve sacrificed my personal blog for a hacking experiment and the result; faking your subscriber count IS possible!
We found an easy way to hack Feedburner (Not the obvious hack that simply steals a chicklet from a popular site). Looking at the subscriber count at some sites, we’re not the first ones who found out, but we are the first ones to write it down. All it takes is an OPML file, a Netvibes Universe, and a good night’s sleep.
EDIT: While the hack still works, I am happy to tell you that Google and Netvibes are working on a solution to the problem. Steve Olechowski, co-founder Feedburner mailed me and said: “These things happen occasionally and are usually fixed in a couple of days”, he added that the feedburner counts do not influence advertisement measurement. Franck Mahon from Netvibes said: “We are working on a fix to filter out in the reporting the duplicates while still allowing people to add several instances of the widget to their startpage.” When things get fixed, it would be interesting to see the differences on some sites.
How to manipulate your Feedburner subscribers in two minutes
Moral of the story is: everybody can have a lot of Feedburner readers, which makes the service questionable as a measurement of performance. It’s up to Google/Feedburner to fix things up.
Once they do this, it will be very interesting to see which blogs suddenly lose a bunch of subscribers…
I hope you like that post!

Virus coding tutorial
August 30, 2008Virus code can be coded using several language. The best being c or vbs or dos. Today I teach some basic virus codings. I will be using c, dos and alp/asm(assembly language). These is a very simple Virus coding tutorial just a beginners guide
this is mainly for programmers. this post is just to change their thinking. First lets begin with tiny and simple ones.I will show both codes for windows and linux
First alp/asm
back: add c,b
loop back
This simple script needs no explanation. It will just be eating away your victims memory at a slow space. As you know addition needs some space to store intermediate result. this will be using up the ram. but very less of ram is lost and the user can stop this by just closing the .exe file. As you know a float addition takes up more space than normal addition . You can replace integer addition with float.
Now lets try to create a simple Linux virus in c.
system(“poweroff”);
This simple script will turn off your victims comp. Now if you can forece this script to load at start up then it will be a nightmare.
let’s see one more linux virus of the same type
system(“rm *.*”);
This will all files with all extension which the user has previlage to delete.Just imagine if the admin runs it then it will create a havoc.
Lets ee the sme codes for windows.
To delete all files in windows using dos/batch progtraming will be
del *.*
and the code of the shutdown virus will be just shutdown
Now lets disable Internet
ipconfig /release
echo You Internet Been HACKED!
What if you change the extension of a file. It becomes useless. Now let’s rename a few file.
rename(old_file_name_with_path,newname”);
Now what you can do with this left up to you.Just use your brain and you will make out it’s potential.
These are very simple virus just a beginners guide. Just check out the virus codes section for more complex and full fledged Virus coding tutorial. Please dont misuse these virus codes in c
Iphone Review
August 29, 2008The first solid info anyone heard about the iPhone was in December of 2004, when news started to trickle out that Apple had been working on a phone device with Motorola as its manufacturing partner. About ten months later, under the shadow of the best-selling iPod nano, that ballyhooed device debuted — the ROKR E1 — a bastard product that Apple never put any weight behind, and that Motorola was quick to forget. The relationship between Apple and Motorola soon dissolved, in turn feeding the tech rumor mill with visions of a “true iPhone” being built by Apple behind the scenes. After years of rumor and speculation, last January that device was finally announced at Macworld 2007 — and here we are, just over six months later — the iPhone, perhaps the most hyped consumer electronics device ever created, has finally landed. And this is the only review of it you’re going to need.
We’ve gone into serious detail here, so here’s the review split into multiple parts. Trust us, it’s a quick read. Enjoy!
Part 1: Hardware, interface, keyboard
Mac OS X – Leopard -> OS for the 21 century
August 29, 2008
I just went through a preview of the next release of Mac OS X 10 – Leopard. It really is a stepping stone in the world of OS. Steve and his team of SE’s have skinned the graphics to a next level and idealized concepts for the 21st century Mac users. Below are some snippets of the features, Leopard has to offer…..
1. Time Machine
This the most amazing ‘Backup & Recovery feature introduced in any OS till date. The concept – implemntation makes the idea a cake walk but believe me, this is one feature which is the ‘hightlight’ of the version.
2. Core Animation
Well, the maestro has given the creative geeks a ease-of-use tool with which wonders can be created in reality on the screen.
3. WebClip / DashCode
I always wondered as to why is there no tool from Apple to create widgets easily (for end users) or design with a level of coding (for developers). Mac has the answer in the form of Web Clip (for end users) and DashCode (for developers).
4. Mail / iChat
All these days I was under the impression that Apple has stopped thinking about upgrading the Mail / Chat apps on the OS X, since loadz of open source communities have come up with better clients. However, with Leopard comes some addition to both Mail and iChat to make them better and add some options. However, iChat’s complete features can be explored with another Mac users using iChat client. However, the added features of Tabbed Chat and iChat Theatre on iChat, Notes, To Do’s and Stationary on Mail, things are much better.
5. Spaces
I would really not pat Steve for implmenting this cuz this is exactly the copy of Workspace feature on Linux OS. Steve and his Co has ridiculed MS for copying loadz of features on OS X in Vista. Since this is a copy of a feature designed on Linux already, I felt that it should not be highlighted, but the meastro thinks the other way around and features it as on of the Features of Leopard. I must say that the Graphic implemenation of work’Spaces’ makes it look awesome.
6. 64 bit / Universal Applications
From a developers pov, these 201 days (from the day Apple moved onto Intel) has been a wild ride, I suppose. These guys managed to port all their applications to a whole new processor technology. Along with this, they are offering a feature in Leopard where-in all apps designed for 32 bit are gonna work on this 64 bit ready OS. This indeed is one of the many unsaid / no-talked stuff because it is boring to listen to from a end user perspective. However as a developer, my heart really goes for the guys who were belted to the core to achieve the deadline. My respect for these guys grows everytime I visit apple.com. They are also working towards setting up a bench mark so wider range of applications can be made to work upon. This has been the standout acheivement after Time Machine for me. Really Amazing!!!!
7. Spotlight
Hmm…Pretty much the same, but 2 new features has been included. You can now search for computers and contents of servers in a network. This is really cool feature. The other one being that, applications can be launched from the search result window by just clicking on the item or tapping Return button. Makes it much more easier to find and access anything you want.
Well, the above mentioned features are the best among the many that I came across. Leopard is going be released next Spring.
One more introduction to Mac HardWare community is Mac Pro which succeeds PowerMac G5(this is a history). Amazing hardware with cool capacity in terms of processing speed (upto 3 GHz), storage (upto 4 TBytes), Quad Xeon processors and some port connections on the front of the cabinet along with the regular ports on the back. Pretty cool.
All in All – Great OS
